STORE POLICY
HOW TO ORDER
ONLINE ORDERS First register and send in a copy of your cosmetology license to licence@hairpiece.com or fax it to (323) 677-4766. Once your account has been upraded you may see prices and place orders. Then Log In and choose the product then proceed to checkout and fill in the information required. Your order will ship the same day if we receive the order before 3:00pm PST.
PHONE ORDERS To place your order over the phone, please call to our toll us free at 1-800-980-4744 from Monday through Friday between 9am through 7pm PST. Your order will ship the same day if we receive the order before 3:00pm PST.
PAYMENT METHODS We accept the following credit cards: PayPal, Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. All Credit Card charges will appear as The Hair Shop, Inc. or Hairpiece.com.
*NOTE Credit cards are charged upon order placement. If we are unable to fulfill our obligation to ship any order, we will refund the amount charged to the original credit card. For your convenience, we also accept Cashier's Checks and Money Orders. No personal checks accepted. Please call for more details. 1-800-980-4744.
WARRANTY The warranty covers tools over $40.00 purchased from The Hair Shop. We will replace defective tools within 6 months of the purchase date. Upon return of the defective tool, we will ship out a replacement at our cost. Customers will be responsible for shipping charges on returned tools that are not determined to be defective. This warranty does not cover wear and tear.
RETURN / EXCHANGE / STORE CREDIT POLICY
FINAL SALE ITEMS Clip-in extensions, wigs, ponytails, hairpieces, tinsel products, feather products, and clearance items.
REFUNDS There is a 15% restocking fee on ALL returned items. No shipping charges will be refunded.
RMA NUMBER You must call to request an RMA number within 10 days of receipt. Please fill out and download our RMA Request Form.
CONDITION of ITEM We will not accept any merchandise that has been used or altered in any way (brushed, combed, picked, cut or washed, etc.). Tags must be attached and the original packaging must be fully intact. For individual extensions, none of the strands should be pulled out in any way.
EXCHANGE If exchange item costs less than the returned item, the difference will be applied to store credit. The difference cannot be refunded. Exchange shipping costs will be applied.
WARRANTY All tools over $40.00 are covered by a 6 month warranty which can be used for an exchange for the same item.
UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS Returns or Exchanges without an RMA number will be refused and returned to the customer at his/her own expense.
FAILED DELIVERIES / REFUSED SHIPMENTS / INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS: Your order will normally be shipped via FEDEX to the address you provide. Tracking numbers are normally sent to your email address as soon as we receive them from our warehouse. If you do not receive a tracking number, please let us know. Use your FEDEX tracking number to track your package in transit.
Incomplete or incorrect address information is the major cause of shipment delays. Check the address information on your order. Make sure you have included ALL the information (address, apt#, etc.) needed to deliver your package. FEDEX charges a service fee for address corrections. The customer will be responsible for the payment of additional fees caused by wrong address information.
Due to problems with missing shipments, we ship all packages as SIGNATURE REQUIRED. FEDEX will have instructions to obtain a signature at the time of delivery. FEDEX will usually make three attempts to deliver your package. They may also leave a notice of their attempts to deliver at the delivery address and give you a telephone number to call for pick-up or to arrange an alternate delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange for package pick-up if necessary. We cannot be responsible for any problems or additional costs if customer requests that the carrier deliver to an alternate location that is different than the original shipping address.
If a package is returned to us it may be reshipped by paying an additional shipping cost. If the package is returned and the customer does not authorize reshipment, they will be billed for the shipping and a 25% restock fee (minimum $10.00) will be charged. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED ON REFUSED OR ABANDONED SHIPMENTS.
STORE CREDITS A restocking fee will not be charged if you decide to receive store credit towards your next purchase. Store credit must be used within 6 months of the issue date.
Disclaimer: Our products are specifically designed for use by licensed professionals. We assume that anyone using our products has enough knowledge and experience to use them properly. We are not responsible for results obtained through improper use.
*You must educate your clients on how to maintain their extensions, such as how to wash, brush, dry, and the use of correct treatments.

As such, we advise that you order your hair at least two days earlier than the expected arrival date. We are not responsible for lost appointments due to late shipments within the 2 day processing period.

SPECIAL LOCATIONS We cannot ship your orders to P.O. Boxes. Expedited orders shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will require and additional business day to arrive. Rural domestic addresses require one or more additional business days to deliver.
ITEMS CONTAINING VOLATILE LIQUIDS Due to their alcohol content, we cannot ship orders of some removal solutions wich may be considered hazardous materials by air and also cannot ship them to certain zip codes in Alaska, P.O. Boxes or military. (Diplomatic pouch mail, APO, FPO, Guam, Puerto RIco and U.S. Virgin Islands)

DUTIES & TAXES The prices we offer do not include any duties and taxes. Recipient shall pay all the incurred expenses including brokerage fees.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
PROTECTION For the cardholder's protection, the company reserves the right to send first time orders to the billing address. You must always have billing address that correctly matches with the credit card.
FIRST TIME BUYER FOR PHONE ORDERS If the billing and shipping address is different for your first time order you must fax in a *legible copy of your photo ID and also the front and back side of your credit card. This rule also applies to International Orders. You can fax your documents to 323-933-9465.
SIGNATURE All packages will be shipped out with signature required. Unless you summit a Signature Release Form (Fill out completely and fax to (323) 933-9465.
RESTRICTED AREA *FEDEX does not ship to military (APO/FPO) address and P.O. Box addresses.
TRACKING The tracking number will be sent to you through automated e-mail right after we ship out your package. Then you can track your package by going to www.FedEx.com or calling *1-800-GO-FEDEX (1-800-463-3339).
NEXT BUSINESS DAY If you order on Friday for Saturday delivery, You must specify to our sales person that you require a *Saturday Delivery Only Otherwise it will be delivered on the next business day. We are not responsible for late shipments due to holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times. If you need additional information, please email us at contact@hairpiece.com
FRIDAY SHIPPING Any orders ordered on Friday after 3pm (PST) will be shipped out on the following business day, Monday. If you require Saturday Delivery for Online Orders please specify our sales representatives that you require your order to be delivered on Saturday.
POLICY CHANGES Hairpiece.com reserves the right to make changes to these policies at our discretion . Please check this page periodically for changes.
PRIVACY POLICY
The Hair Shop Inc. requests your name, billing address, shipping address, credit card number and expiration date, CVS code, and an e-mail address. This information is used for the sole purpose of processing your orders. The information you provide is not sold or shared with anyone.
